摘要
To accelerate burning, aluminum particle surfaces of a composite propellant are coated with a type of macromolecular surface-active agent, which forms impermeable shells during the combustion process. Aluminum particles are therefore rapidly and completely burnt out by means of disruptive burning. Laser ignition experiments tentatively demonstrate the feasibility of the idea, and the results of T-burner experiment show that the residues on the tube wall of combustion chamber and percentage of large particles decrease significantly when using the coated aluminum particles in the solid propellant.
