摘要
This paper presents a novel control technique for a cascaded H-bridge (CHB) multilevel converter with faulty cells. The control strategy is based on the neutral shift method with a simple modification of a control block to the CHB faulty operation. The implementation of the method is provided by the line-to-line voltage balance by shaping unbalanced phase shifts of the output voltages. Simulation results confirm the reliable operation of the CHB multilevel converter with faulty cells.
