in the paper, an efficient approach to tolerance analysis of arbitrary G(m)-C filters is investigated. We present a general structure of G(m)-C filter of arbitrary order as well as its matrix description. Using this approach, we derive formulas that allow us to calculate the change of filter transfer function caused by deviation of filter element values from their nominal values. Computational cost of evaluation of these formulas is low, which makes them suitable to perform statistical analysis of arbitrary G(m)-C filters. It can also be used to analyse the influence of parasitics on filter characteristics. Several application examples including Worst Case analysis of high-order G(m)-C filters are presented and discussed.
