摘要
We present a fast step-by-step method to design double free-form LED lens quickly; tiny rectangular light field with high efficiency can be achieved. Lens construction just need to derive two contour lines according to geometrical optics analysis. Lenses with different design angles are constructed according to the method, tiny rectangular light field from 2.3 degrees x1.2 degrees to 6 degrees x10 degrees can be achieved for a 1mmx1mm LED source, optical simulation efficiency is higher than 83%, besides uniformity is higher than 79%. A manufactured lens proves the validity of the method.
