摘要
I present a method to correct solar magnetograms for a non-uniform detector pattern that depends on the sense of light polarization. The application to Big Bear Solar Observatory magnetograph observations demonstrates that the determination of a flat pattern can be done at an accuracy imposed by the photon noise in the raw magnetograms.
