摘要
Free tissue transfer with microvascular anastomosis has transformed surgical outcomes for head and neck cancer patients. Microvascular reconstruction has allowed surgeons to perform more aggressive ablative surgery. This paper considers the extent to which this method of reconstruction has improved functional outcomes in these patients. (C) 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
