Research on the Integrative Supply Chain of Vendor Management Inventory and Third -Party Logistics

This paper brings forward a new idea of supply chain to integrate Vendor management inventory(VMI) and Third -party logistics (TPL). Based on the one-TPL-one model, the paper analyzes the vendor's profit, TPL's profit, retailer's profit and total profit of the supply chain respectively. At the same time, how inventory and customer satisfaction are influenced is discussed in detail and the analysis results is also explained in the paper. At last, a numerical Study is given to testify the analysis results, which confirms the consistency between the Computation results and theoretical design.
