摘要：

The National Stadium (nicknamed Bird's Nest), which was the main stadium for the 2008 Olympic Games, was a large-scale complex project featuring innovative architecture design and complex structure, using lots of high technologies. Because of its tight construction schedule, it was necessary to adopt information technologies to coordinate and manage various aspects such as duration, safety, quality, cost etc. By applying comprehensively an information management system, a collaborative platform, a 4D construction management system and a video surveillance system, the management was enhanced to ensure the smooth construction of the project.
