FTIR Spectroscopy: A Useful Tool for Structural Determination of Polyaniline and its Nanocomposites

摘要
Poly(aniline) nanocomposites were obtained by polymerisation under various experimental conditions including variation of time, temperature, monomer and concentration of initiators. The ratios of imino and amino units were estimated and correlated the with polyaniline (PANI) structure. Rates of polymerisation (RP) values were estimated by a gravimetric method. TGA counsels the thermal stability of PANI. Through FTIR study, the structure of PANI/As2O3 nanocomposites was recognised. Comparison of polyanilines produced with two different initiators was done.
