摘要
After simulation training had been implemented in the specialty training regulations adopted by some the regional State Chambers of Physicians for the acquisition of the additional designation Emergency Medicine, an international expert group of anaesthesiologists, gynaecologists and obstetricians, internists and paediatricians followed an invitation of the German Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (DGAI) and convened in October 2014 to discuss the nationwide realization of the programme's basic principles. Previous course experiences were brought into the discussion, the local State Chambers formulated prerequisites for the acknowledgement of this simulation-based course format, and ultimately declared a recommendation for its integration into the Model Specialty Training Regulations of the German Medical Council.
