The American Heart Association Scientific Sessions cover the latest research and breakthroughs in cardiovascular and stroke science worldwide. The 2016 meeting took place in New Orleans, Louisiana, with more than 5,000 sessions and 4,000 abstract presentations. The site welcomed 1,000 invited faculty and nearly 18,000 professional attendees from more than 100 countries, who would have access, among other opportunities, to lectures and discussions about cardiovascular basic, translational, clinical and population science.
