Thermal dependences of the switching properties of barium titanate ceramics

摘要
The particularities of the nonlinear response of BaTiO3 (BT) ferroelectric ceramics on the applied step-field are analysed and compared with those reported for single crystals. The nucleation-growth mechanism has been separated from other relaxation-type behaviours, at various temperatures. The experimental switching currents have been used to compute the effective growth dimension, in terms of the Avrami theory.
