摘要
Psychotraumas from childhood and maturity are directly involved in the etiopathogenesis of schizophrenia, correlating with the biological and biochemical risk factors. In as sample of 248 subjects diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, the presence of the psychotrauma within 9-15 years age was correlated with common psychological features, low socio-economic status and large number of episodes of disease that cause multiple readmissions. Thus, it becomes extremely important the early identification of the positive history for psychotraumatic events in patients with paranoid schizophrenia, as well as when psychotrauma occurred, in order to adopt a complex therapeutic management, including interventions too.
