The sexual education needs of those disabled by mental illness

摘要：

The sexual education needs of consumers of mental health services were identified through surveying a sample of 39 consumers of services at an inner-city mental health facility. The survey was developed to address both content areas of sexual education and the forum in which consumers of service would prefer to address their sexual education needs. A comparison of the literature and the results of this study reveal that the sexual education needs in respect to content are both different and similar to those identified in the literature.
