摘要
The Irish Education for Person with Special Educational Needs Act (EPSEN) 2004 identifies inclusion, entitlement, integration of services and early identification of needs as central to inclusive education. It is in the EPSEN act that the right of students to differentiated instruction is to be assured and protected. The Inclusive Learning with Technology (ILT) project has embraced the concept of Universal design and responded to the unique strengths and learning preferences of each of our students through the integration of learning style instruments and ICT into the curriculum, and fostered a collaborative environment within and between participating schools through the use of network and communication technologies. The project has been evaluated and monitored by an external evaluator and evidence of the impact of the technology was measured using the Irish Matching Person and Technology (IMPT) model. The IMPT is an instrument based on the U.S. Matching Person and Technology (MPT) model, as modified and validated in the STATE M ENT project (1)
