摘要：

For large designs such as advanced microprocessors, emulation prototyping eliminates costly silicon respins and dramatically shortens time to market. A ''virtual silicon'' prototype can run trillions of verification vectors in only a few weeks, beating conventional software logic simulators by up to six orders of magnitude.
