摘要
We simulated the structure/structural parameters of 2-LP mode ring-core erbium-doped fiber to achieve efficient amplification with a low DMG. We reveal a low DMG area over the entire allowable 2 mode area of the inside/outside core radii. Efficient and low DMG amplification characteristics are realized in the region near the LP21 cutoff whose inside core radiusis 2.5 similar to 4 mu m, for 2-LP mode RC-EDF with a relative refractive index of 1.0 %.
