摘要
Most part of the human brain is supplied by the branches from the circle of Willis, which is an anastomotic communication between the two vertebral arteries and two internal carotid arteries. The morphological variations of this anastomosis are very much important in the diagnosis and treatment of different cerebrovascular diseases. Here we observed the anatomical pattern of circle of Willis of brains, collected from 76 donated cadavers from different medical colleges of West Bengal and reviewed their clinico-anatomical importance.
