The acid-base titration of electrolytes and their mixtures in homogeneous systems has been studied in great detail, A method for prior estimation of the applicability of such titration to quantitative determinations was developed [1-3], However, titration in actual practice is frequently accompanied by the formation of a new phase. The quantitative effect of this process on the jumps in titration curves has not been studied yet. In this work, the effect of precipitation in the titration of hydrochlorides of monoacid organic bases with strong bases has been studied. This interaction is not attended with the formation of hydroxo complexes, whereas the bases themselves appear to be the solid phase.
