摘要
A cesarean scar ectopic pregnancy represents a real challenge for contemporary obstetrics. The incidence of these type of pregnancy has increased over the past decades due to the rising number of cesarean sections. The development of transvaginal ultrasonography is also implicated in the increased number of this pathology, due to a more accurate diagnosis and therefore more reported cases. In this paper we will present a case of cesarean scar pregnancy and discuss the diagnosing process and the therapeutic options in order to obtain the best result for the patient. We used transvaginal ultrasonography and laboratory investigations to establish the diagnosis of cesarean scar pregnancy. Regarding the treatment options, we have first done artery embolization, and after that we continued with a suction curettage followed by multiple methotrexate cures.
