摘要
Acute and chronic wrist problems can significantly limit an athlete's performance. Relatively minor injuries may significantly affect performance. Wrist arthroscopy is an integral part of the assessment and treatment of many wrist disorders; it is minimally invasive, has low morbidity, and, more important, is diagnostically precise. Although patient selection and the exact timing of operative intervention may be controversial, wrist arthroscopy minimizes time away from sport and potentially lengthens the time an athlete can participate in sport.
