The combined cycle power plant (CCPP) has higher thermal efficiency compared to steam power plant (SPP) and gas turbine power plant (GTPP). It combines gas turbine/ brayton cycle and steam/ rankine cycle. A study has been carried out to determine the effect of gas composition, air intake cooling and steam injection on the performance of the CCPP using Aspen Hysys V9 process simulator. The validity of simulation has been confirmed that shown by minor error of less than 10% in comparison with manufacturer data. The results showed that changes in gas composition caused a decrease in power of 0.23 - 3.92 MW. The inlet air temperature and steam injection configurations were found to have a positive effect in increasing the efficiency of 1.97% - 8.03% and 4.24% - 4.59%, respectively.
