摘要
I propose an analysis of how spiritist characters and institutions have articulated and (re)constructed spiritist perceptions and representations about politics, gender and sexuality, especially since the emergence of a conservative scenario after the 2016 coup d'etat, and how these visions are put politically in terms of conservative and progressive spiritism. Spiritist discourses have become more intense, both in the sense of new positions and understandings as well as new actors/actresses, who have been challenged to (re)elaborate religious discourse, making explicit political positions both in the field of sexual and gender diversity, as in the face of the crisis that strains our social fabric.
