摘要：

A technology for comprehensive maintenance of converter refractory linings has been developed at the Krivorozhstal'ISW. The technology is based on the use of flame gunning and slag splashing for building up a protective coating layer on the refractory lining. The newly developed maintenance technology permits substantial extension of the converter campaign and significant cost saving of steel production.
