摘要
Boron is quantitatively determined with azomethine H as a colouring agent. Boric acid; borate salts and in general water soluble borate esters are able to transfer the borate anion to azomethine H forming a 1:1 bis-chelate complex with tetrahedral boron. The proposed method allows determination of boron from dietary supplements and standardizes their composition in boron.
