摘要
1. To demonstrate the importance of the Streptococcus milleri group (SMG) as a pyogenic pathogen in children. 2. To describe the clinical settings in which the SMG might contribute to the development of pyogenic complications. 3. To recall that infections with the SMG are often polymicrobial. 4. To discuss antimicrobial susceptibility patterns of SMG to commonly used antimicrobial agents.
