摘要
The theory of the transient electric-field pulses testing receives extensive attention in the fields of national defense and industry. How to measure the transient electric-field pulses efficiently and accurately is an urgent problem to be solved in electromagnetic countermeasures. Ultra-wideband time-domain antennas are the core component of the transient electric-field measurement systems. In this paper, an ultra-wideband timedomain antenna is proposed to measure the transient electric-field pluses. The proposed antenna is based on progressive conical dipole structure, which couples electric-field energy through a pair of differential dipoles. The simulation and measurement results show that the proposed antenna has excellent differential characteristics in the frequency range of 10MHz similar to 1GHz. The proposed antenna has advantages of wide operation frequency, small size, simple processing and low cost.
