摘要
The article aims to present a reflection on the use of cordel literature in Religious Education classes as a way to transmit the contents in an interdisciplinary, interactive and dynamic way. Throughout the discussion it is demonstrated that the use of cordel literature in the classroom is a way for religious teaching to approach community, popular religiosity, the spontaneous faith of the humblest human groups and popular poetry. Finally, it is argued that cordel literature has a strong religious diversity. A diversity linked to popular religiosity, poetry, popular culture and the daily life of the citizen. This diversity may be a bridge to the construction of learning spaces within the school Religious Education discipline.
