摘要:
Recent experiments on giant electric resonances in Ca and Ni isotopes with inelastically scattered alpha-particles are analyzed within a microscopic nuclear structure model, The model includes the continuum RPA as well as more complex 1p1hcircle timesphonon configurations. We emphasize the necessity of using microscopically calculated multipole strength distributions and transition densities for the analysis of such experiments in light and medium mass nuclei.
