摘要
The roles of small closed orbits and other orbits in causing the magnetoresistance of quasi-two-dimensional conductors were examined separately on the basis of the semiclassical-model calculation It was found that the small closed orbits, but not the self-crossing orbit suggested in the Comment by Peschansky and Kartsovnik [Phys. Rev. B 60, 11207 (1999)], played a major role in causing the resistance peak for the magnetic field parallel to the conducting plane. [S0163-1829(99)09239-5].
