摘要
Breast radiologists can use social media to promote their brand and further connections with their patients, other physicians, and the greater community as a whole. This article offers a discussion and a guide by which breast radiologists can successfully navigate in the era of social media. The discussion is guided by three principles that, when used in collaboration with one another, will increase overall engagement between breast radiologists and the communities they serve. Ultimately, social media can be used by breast radiologists as an effective tool to facilitate engagement and advocate for and educate patients beyond the walls of the clinic.
