In the last years, the teaching of mother tongue has been supported by modern technical equipment, especially notebooks and tablets. Within experimental lessons of Czech orthography, syntax and phonetics, we have started to educate students of the Pedagogical Faculty of Palacky University in Olomouc with support of tablet mobile devices (using the operating systems Android and iOS). They are used both to support the frontal education and practice the selected school subjects and to implement their own tasks (experimental measurement, verification of sound characteristics of voice, analyses of hearing etc.). For our purposes, we have also created several custom applications that are used within each lesson, as well as for home preparation. In our paper, we focus mainly on the use of applications "Syntactic analyze -analysis of a simple sentences", "Practice spelling" and "Listed words" and the applications used for phonetic and phonological analysis (e.g. 10th Decibel, dB Volume Meter, SPL Meter, Tone Gen Pro, Pro Tuner, etc.). The paper summarizes the results of this form of blended learning.
