摘要
Rehabilitation of Masonry walls with high-strength wire mesh-and polymer mortar is a new method of structural strengthening with the advantage of resistance to fire, corrosion and ageing. The finite element method (FEM) for evaluating the nonlinear analysis of the shear behavior of masonry walls strengthened with high-strength wire mesh and polymer mortar was presented and showed that the finite element method could effectively simulate the shear behavior of the repaired members with proper numerical model. The simulation results of cracking load of two models are 71.85kN, 145.15 kN, the results of ultimate capacity are 90,72 kN, 181.44 kN which are consistent with the experimental ones. The analytical results validate the feasibility and advantage of the finite element method which can be an effective supplement of the experiment.
