摘要：

The study analyses Slovak historiography in connection with social history of the 19th and 20th centuries. Historically older resources used to depict the Slovaks as farmers and people living mostly in villages. Therefore many works were devoted to the problems of villages and farmers. The literature still gives priority to the ideological approach. Schematic character of class division and investigation of every day life have only been started.
