摘要
Modular multilevel converter based high voltage direct current (MMC-HVDC) technology as the new generation of DC transmission technology, has been developed and applied globally. With the development of the technology, the reliability evaluation of MMC-HVDC transmission system has become increasingly important. The reliability modeling and analysis of converter station are mainly concerned. The fault tree analysis (FTA) method is adopted. Firstly, the reliability index and calculation method are presented. Then, the fault tree model of converter station is established in isograph software based on equipment list and the basic reliability data of each component. Furthermore, the reliability level of the converter station is calculated, and the components that most affect the reliability level are obtained by sensitivity analysis.
