摘要
Quaternary salts of the alkaloid glaucine with alkyl iodides have been obtained. The crystal and molecular structure of the methyl iodide salt was studied by x-ray structure analysis. The synthesized compounds were tested for antimicrobial activity with respect to both Gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis) and Gram-negative (Escherichia coli) bacteria.
