摘要
Many researches have shown that tool-path time accounted for an average of 70% of the total production time in sheet metal punching. In this paper, we present simple but efficient approach to determine the optimum sequence in CNC punching manufacturing. Algorithm is integrated into a punching manufacturing. The result are produced in form of G-codes showing the hole punching sequence that shortens the punching tool travel path. Finally, these G-codes can be integrated directly to CNC punching machines. After that, products are tested in factory. The results show that the algorithm is more effective, the quality is the same.
