摘要
A novel convergent skill called the two-way convergent method for genetic algorithms is proposed. This idea comes true the optimal beam pattern of an adaptively linear phase array antenna. The design for an optimal beam pattern of an adaptive antenna can not only suppress interference by placing nulls at the directions of the interfering sources but also provide a maximum main lobe in the direction of the desired signal, i.e., to maximize the Signal Interference Ratio (SIR). In order to achieve this goal, the structure of the adaptive antenna is designed using phase perturbation method. The genetic algorithm is an easy and effective approach, which can be used to search the optimal phase weighting vector of the adaptive array factor. The simulation results obtained show the feasibility of the proposed method. Computer simulation result is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in this paper.
