摘要
High transverse-field (TF) mu SR measurements on hole-doped cuprates showing a spatially inhomogeneous response to magnetic field far above the bulk superconducting transition temperature (T-c) are discussed. Particular attention is paid to the intermediate hole-doping regime, where an inhomogeneous magnetic response has recently been observed in the normal state of YBa2Cu3Oy (YBCO) and La2-xSrxCuO4 (LSCO) that tracks the hole-doping dependences of both T-c and the density of the superconducting carriers n(s) below T-c.
