Matrix convexity: Operator analogues of the bipolar and Hahn-Banach theorems

Several basic results of convexity theory are generalized to the ''quantized'' matrix convex sets of Wittstock. These include the Bipolar theorem, a gauge version of the Hahn-Banach theorem, and the existence theorem for support functionals. (C) 1997 Academic Press.
