摘要
Bulk perovskite manganese oxide La1-xSbxMnO3 (x=0.05,0.1) samples were prepared using solid-state reaction technology. Electrical transport and magnetic properties have been investigated. The experimental results show that the compound exhibits typical colossal magnetoresistance (CMR) behavior. The temperature and time dependence of magnetization [M(T) and M(t)] confirm that the compounds are in cluster glass state at temperatures lower than Curie temperature. The zero-field-cooled magnetization strongly depends on the observed time, and all M(t) curves have an inflection point at an observation time very close to wait time t(w). All our results show that the La1-xSbxMnO3 (x=0.05, 0.1) compound is a CMR oxide with a MR ratio of about 60% at 225 K and 5 T. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis has revealed that the Sb cation is in quin-valence state and the new compound could be considered as an electron doped system.
