摘要：
In the report the author proposes his view about power efficiency for the industrial sustainable development. It is structured on the basis of long year experience and examination of highly power consuming industrial plants. Short information for energy and energy efficiency of EU member states is given. The use and contribution of sun energy and energy efficiency for functioning and sustainable development of biosphere and its ecosystems is analyzed. The author stresses on the integral specific of energy efficiency and gives basic trends for increasing of energy efficiency in industrial plants. It is emphasized the necessity of appropriate managing instruments for energy efficiency of industry. It is pointed out in conclusion the multiple benefits from energy efficiency for sustainable development, environment and biosphere protection.
