摘要
A broadband E-shaped monopole antenna for universal serial bits (USB) dongle applications is demonstrated experimentally and numerically. According to the experimental results, the operating mode has an impedance bandwidth of approximately 39.8% (1.83-2.74 GHz) that covers the UMTS, WiBro, WLAN, and S-DMB bands, and omnidirectional radiation patterns were obtained. It is suitable for application to a USB dongle with its relatively low profile. (C) 2009 Wiley Periodicals. Inc.
