摘要:
The article focuses on the process of nursing professionalization in the province of Santa Fe during the first half of the 20th century, based on its links with the consolidation of expertise in the fields of health knowledge, and its conversion in knowledge of State. With this objective, the work analyses the experience of the Nurses School and Health Visitors of the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, the first nursing university training national experience. We organize the work in three axes: on the one hand, the local background around nursing training and the characteristics of the regional academic scheme in the first decades of the University; secondly, the particular relationship between university project and politics in the interwar in Santa Fe. Finally, we focus on the transnational circulation of health policies and knowledge, within the framework of a new perspective on the "social issue", and the relationship in this sense between the Rockefeller Foundation, the local university and the Province State. The work concludes with the institutionalization of a diverse political project, coinciding with the closure of the university nursing formation experience: the Nurses School in Public Health under the Ministry of Health of the province. It started in 1948 and presented notable differences both in terms of training and the technical and political project in which it is inserted with the arrival of peronismo
