摘要
In this paper, a knowledge management (KM) model for job skills is presented. The model implements certain principles of KM applied to job skills management in a 70,000 employee power company. The underlying KM activities support the development and application of ideas. Actions undertaken by the company are based on the alignment of their people, processes and technology with the business strategy, context and goals. The actual KM practices are sharing information and documenting the job skills standards for the productive functions of the company. The model is divided in four interrelated sections: the functional model of the company, the job skill standards creation module, the certification control module and the evaluation centers management module. The KM effort is classified under the following attributes: context; goals; strategy; culture; and technological, organizational and process infrastructure.
