摘要：
A 7-year-old child developed BK virus-induced hemorrhagic cystitis on day 16 after an allogeneic bone marrow transplant. Contrary to previous reports, intravesical Instillation of prostaglandin E-2 was associated with considerable discomfort and failed to alleviate symptoms. Supportive treatment thereafter consisted of adequate hydration until the spontaneous resolution of symptoms on day 52.
