摘要
The present paper intends to view war-related terminology from different linguistic and social perspectives. The authors will focus upon the manner in which certain terms belonging to the common language of the everyday speech are to be used in the specialised language of the lexical family of war (battle, army, fight) especially under the form of idioms, phrasal verbs or even slang.
