摘要
Considering the elementary processes of neutron detection occurring in the neutron imaging plate (NIP) has optimized the performance of NIP, For these processes, the color center creation efficiencies (epsilon(cc) values) have been experimentally determined with NIPs which have different mole fraction of photostimulated (PSL) material (phi(PSL) values) and different thickness (t). The effectiveness of the optimization procedure has been demonstrated by the measurement of the neutron diffraction intensities from a hen egg-white lysozyme protein crystal.
