摘要：

In the title compound, C(15)H(12)C(l2)N(2)O(2)center dot CH(3)OH, the hydrazone molecule displays an E configuration about the C=N bond. The dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 4.6 (2)degrees. In the crystal structure, the hydrazone and methanol molecules are linked into a chain propagating along the a axis via N-H center dot center dot center dot O and O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds.
