The enzyme mixture ZY 38 (Energex) supplementation of a broiler starter and a fattening diet containing 20 % peas enhanced the body weight by 2.5 %, and the feed conversion was diminished by 1.7 %. Thatswhy, the supplementation would give an economical an ecological benefit. However, an improvement of parameters like feed intake, laying performance, egg weight, feed conversion, and mortality was not observed in laying hens which diet contained 10 % lineseed (LS), and lineseed cake (LK); respektively, and was supplemented with enzymes. The enzyme supplementation of the lineseed cake diet improved the laying performance by 1.3 % (p > 0.05). Further parameters did not differ between the test groups. The supplementation of the lineseed diet with the enzyme mixtures did not influence the parameters in laying hens.
